Kew Residence

Description:

Kew, established in 1850’s, is on the territory of the Wurundjeri peoples. Kew is located 5 km’s east of Melbourne in the City of Boroondara. Kew borders the suburbs of Hawthorn, Camberwell, Balwyn and Abbotsford. The Yarra River winds it way along a large part of the Kew suburb border.

The architecture of Kew is immense; from the mansions such as Raheen on Studley Park Road, through to Victorian row terraces off High Street, and the Edwardian and modern designs home off Cotham Road. With the breadth of architecture, window furnishing range from deisgner fabric curtains and sheers, through to honeycomb blinds, shutters and timber venetians.

The project was truly memorable with a large scale inhome theatre requiring complete blockout curtains.
